Design

Access Design settings from the Settings Screen, or, by tapping the 3 dot menu below the time on the Home Screen.

Brightness​

  • Auto: Match the system setting.
  • Dark: Use a dark theme.
  • Light: Use a light theme.

Color​

Telosnex uses this color as the button color. Other colors are formed from this color by altering its tone, creating a beautiful, cohesive design.

Our novel work at the intersection of design & color science guarantees the app is readable and usable by all users, no matter the color chosen.

  • Random: Choose a random color.
  • Reset: Reset to the default color (Telosnex #1177AA).
  • H: Hue, ex. red/yellow/green/blue.
  • C: Chroma, how intense the color is, the purity of the color.
  • T: Tone, how light or dark the color is.
  • RGB | Hex: The color in hexadecimal or RGB format.

Contrast​

The contrast slider controls the difference between text and background.
When contrast is high, text is easier to read, but more tiring on the eyes.
When contrast is low, text is harder to read, but less tiring on the eyes.
Balancing that is different for each person, so Telosnex lets you choose.

Density​

The density slider lets you control the size of text and buttons. When density is high, text and buttons are larger.

Fonts​

  • Random: Choose random fonts.
  • Reset: Reset to the default fonts. Headlines: Lusitana, Text: IM Fell Great Primer, Label: Alice.
  • Headings: The font used for headings.
  • Text: The font used for text.
  • Label: The font used for buttons.
  • Choose: Choose a font from Google Fonts: over 600 fonts, providing for everything from beautiful fonts for any language, dyslexia-friendly fonts, to the latest in design trends.

Hand​

Telosnex allows you to choose the hand you write with. This changes the layout of the app to make it easier to use with your dominant hand. Controls move to the side matching your hand.

Wallpaper​

  • Random: Choose a random wallpaper from Unsplash.
  • Search: Search Unsplash for a wallpaper.
  • My Photos: Choose a photo from your device's files or Photos app.

When there is a wallpaper:

  • Remove: Remove the wallpaper.
  • Use Colors: Use colors from the wallpaper for the app's design.
  • Unsplash: Open the wallpaper on Unsplash, where you can find more from the same artist.
